  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 3 large dill pickles finely chopped
  • ½ teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Pinch salt
  • Pinch black pepper
  • 1 sourdough baguette

  • Prepare the tuna spread: Drain the tuna well and place it in a bowl. Add garlic, mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper, then blend with an immersion blender until smooth.
  • Chop the pickles: Finely chop the dill pickles using a knife or veggie chopper. Stir them into the blended tuna mixture with a spoon.
  • Prepare the crispy bread: Slice the baguette diagonally into thin slices. Lightly spread butter on both sides of each slice.
  • Toast the bread: Heat a grill pan or non-stick skillet over high heat. Toast the baguette slices for 30-60 seconds per side until golden and crispy.
